Plus, if running-back Eddie Lacy can put up numbers similar to those that he had in his rookie campaign last year, then Green Bay’s offense does not need to rely solely on the arm of number 12.

Much has been made about Jay Cutler’s receiving corps that he has in Chicago with Alshon Jeffery, Brandon Marshall, and Martellus Bennett. And, of course, Detroit has Calvin Johnson. But, one thing that can be counted on with a healthy Aaron Rodgers that cannot be with Cutler is consistency.

Seattle will still be dangerous and so will San Francisco. Even though the Saints have Drew Brees, Philadelphia will badly make them miss Darren Sproles. A healthy Atlanta team will also be improved. But when Green Bay is at full strength, this is a team that still can beat anyone in the league. Expect them to win at least 12 games this season and make a run at another Super Bowl.

Yes, the Seattle Seahawks are the defending Super Bowl champions, but one has to remember the circumstances the Green and Gold were in last year. For most of the season, the Packers missed Aaron Rodgers with a collarbone injury and still managed to win the NFC North. The signing of Julius Peppers was a much needed one, and can be a possible insurance policy if Clay Matthews were to get injured again.
