Training camp is right around the corner for the Philadelphia Flyers. Here is a list of players that have the opportunity to prove themselves at this year’s training camp.

Going into training camp, this year, certain players either have their last chance to prove themselves or have a chance to surprise the Philadelphia Flyers coaching staff and GM Ron Hextall.

Hextall’s philosophy on young talent is that the talent will let him know when the talent is ready to compete in the NHL. Hextall was quoted as saying, “If a young kid comes in and makes us a better team and we don’t think we’re going to hurt him long-term, we’re going to keep him. If not, we’ll go with what we have.”
