Staff writers Jenna Bonner and Hayden Hoskins analyze who the Sixers could target in free agency.

The Philadelphia 76ers are probably the most unattractive free agent destination this year, and the narrative that they’re going to be “big players” in free agency is a bit overblown. Yes, there is a new regime in town that’s spewing #Process2Progress (vomits), but it really doesn’t change much. Top tier players want to go to contenders and not teams in a transition period.

So, the likelihood of the Sixers landing any top free agents like Kevin Durant or DeMar DeRozan is pretty much zero (sorry JoJo), but there are still good options out there. The Sixers can easily lure mid-level talents with their ample cap space and a promising young core.
