On Saturday night, the 2016 NFL Draft came to a close in Chicago. Here, we breakdown all of the selections by The Philadelphia Eagles.

As the 253rd pick came in on a rainy Saturday night, the 2016 NFL draft commenced its operations in the windy city of Chicago, Illinois.

For the Philadelphia Eagles, the 2016 NFL draft could be one that is franchise altering. The Philadelphia Eagles traded five picks over the course of the next three drafts (including 2016) to the Cleveland Browns to move up to the second overall pick presumably to select either California’s Jared Goff or North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz, both of whom have been hailed by some to be a franchise quarterback.

We now have that answer.

The pride of Fargo, North Dakota, Carson Wentz became the highest quarterback selected by the team since legendary QB Donovan McNabb back in 1999, ironically also at second overall.

Even with the three picks the Eagles gave up to move up the draft board to select Wentz, Philadelphia still had eight picks in the draft and had a balanced draft on both sides of the ball, selecting four players on offense and four on defense. Here is the rundown of the players coming to the City of Brotherly Love this summer:

How did the Eagles fare in the draft? Follow along as I break down each pick made by the franchise this past weekend.
