Update: Jeremy Maclin returns from injury, makes catch

Jeremy Maclin has exited the Eagles-Steelers game, after falling to the ground after he overstrided and his knee buckled. Coming off of his second torn ACL, I don’t want to make any speculations, but this outcome was everyone’s worst nightmare. Macin did walk off the field by himself, so hopefully this is nothing serious.

The funny thing is, right before Maclin got hurt, I thought he looked like he had gotten out of his own head, and was just playing. At this point, him being in his own head might be the best outcome.

Update 8:42 PM EST: Maclin returned to the game, and made a catch on his first play back in. Crisis averted. Still, I don’t get the sense that Maclin has a ton of confidence right now, and with the season a couple of weeks away, that isn’t good. But it’s better than another serious injury.
