76ers Holding...Wait for It...76 Draft Night Parties

Whoever the mastermind in charge of the 76ers pubic relations and events staff is must be operating on a different wavelength than us mere mortals. To crack the seemingly unbreakable code that is tapping into the full potential of the franchise’s numerical title clearly required countless man hours and a combined brain power far beyond the capacity for this average Joe to comprehend.

That’s right. June 26th, when the 76ers enter perhaps the most important draft in franchise history, they will do so under the watchful eye of 76 separate team-sponsored watch parties. All joking aside, the organization has remained consistent in promoting the importance of the event, now just 20 days away, as it pertains to the future success of the team.

The team’s Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer Tim McDermott offered his validation for the widespread promotion of the event.

“We will have an unprecedented 76 Sixers Draft parties to match the size and scope of what this night means to our organization, and especially to our fans…We look forward to seeing our future unfold on June 26 as we gather together to watch and celebrate the Draft.”

Each event will be provided with prizes, including 2014-2015 season tickets. 97.5 The Fanatic, the official radio partner of the 76ers, will also be broadcasting from various locations on draft night. Participating locations can already be found on the team website. I wonder if there’s anyone crazy enough to try to hit up all 76 parties over the course of the night. In completely unrelated news…I have off from work that night and very little on my plate.
