Michael Vick calls Darren Sproles-LeSean McCoy combination ‘dangerous’

In case you’ve missed it, ESPN analyst and former Eagles’ quarterback Ron Jaworski has been leading the campaign for Michael Vick to start at quarterback in week one for the New York Jets. Vick repayed “Jaws” by making an appearance at his charity golf tournament yesterday.

Vick, who was always fairly media friendly in his five year stint in Philly, took some time and answered numerous questions from CSN Philly’s Derrick Gunn.

Vick gave some great answers to “D-Gunn”, perhaps none better than his glowing thoughts on what Chip Kelly will be able to do with Darren Sproles and LeSean McCoy.

“He’s (Chip Kelly) a very smart coach and he knows what it takes to bring out the best in his players, motivate them and get them in shape, so I’m pretty sure he’ll have a special package for [Sproles]. Darren Sproles and Shady McCoy … that’s kind of dangerous.”

In the interview below, Vick also discussed his competition with Geno Smith and Nick Foles‘ evolution, among other things.
