The details are still leaking out, but multiple sources are reporting that the Eagles have traded former 7th round pick RB Bryce Brown to the Buffalo Bills for a 2015 draft pick.

Despite flashing high-end talent out of the backfield, Brown really could never develop the consistency to establish himself as a threat to take carries from LeSean McCoy. He did show the sort of workhorse skills as a starter for a brief stretch during the 2012 season, but fumbles left a dark spot on what was otherwise a very impressive stretch.
For the time being, the Eagles now have McCoy, Chris Polk, and Darren Sproles making up their backfield. I would imagine it is possible they will look at another running back with one of their remaining draft picks.
