Steve Mason OUT for Game 2 of Flyers-Rangers series

Per CSN Philly’s Tim Panaccio, Flyers’ goalie Steve Mason will miss his second consecutive playoff game with an upper-body injury.

This move comes after Mason did practice the last two days, but apparently struggled through taking live shots in practice for the first time today.

Mason did also clarify that he will not be backing up Ray Emery in Game 2, as he is not available at all.

Stay tuned for more reaction to the news that Mason is out for Game 2, and how the Flyers adjust as they look to even up the series on Easter Sunday.
