Due to nearly eight inches of snow already hitting the Deleware Valley, and at least four or five more inches on the way, tonight’s Philadelphia Flyers-Carolina Hurricanes showdown has been postponed, per a Flyers press release.

As snow continues to pile up in the Greater Philadelphia Region, the Philadelphia Flyers and their parent company, Comcast-Spectacor, in conjunction with the National Hockey League, are postponing their game against the Carolina Hurricanes, scheduled for tonight (January 21) at 7 p.m. to a soon-to-be-announced new date.

While the make-up date for tonight’s game hasn’t been announced, the release did say that fans with tickets for tonight’s game will be able to use those tickets on the make-up date, whenever that should be.
