New Orleans Saints' Pierre Thomas OUT Vs. Philadelphia Eagles In Wild-Card Playoff Game

Per, Saints leading rusher Pierre Thomas is OUT for the Eagles-Saints playoff matchup tomorrow night.

Running back Pierre Thomas will not play against Eagles

Thomas will miss the game, after sustaining a chest injury in the Saints week 17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Thomas not only led the team in rushing yards (549 yards), but he also caught 77 balls out of the backfield for nearly 550 yards.

The Saints obviously aren’t a rush-first team like the Eagles are, but if the Eagles can keep Mark Ingram and Darren Sproles from getting going, then they can drop in coverage, and hope to limit Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, and the Saints elite aerial attack.
