Michael Vick Replaced By Matt Barkley As Hamstring Is Clearly Still Bothering Him

It took two weeks of Michael Vick sitting out, for the Eagles to feel like he was completely healthy and ready to start again. It didn’t take that long for the Eagles to come to the conclusion that Vick wasn’t healthy enough to stay in the game.

While Vick completed six of his first nine passes for 31 yards, an interception, uncertainty in the pocket, and limited mobility, clearly showed that Vick was not healthy enough to stay in the game.

According to Fox Sports, Vick’s return to the game is questionable. It seems hard to imagine a scenario where Vick would return to the game, though.

Vick has been replaced by Matt Barkley, who struggled mightily in his NFL debut last week.
