Anyone who has ever strained their hamstring will tell you that it really hurts right when you strain it, and it becomes an even bigger pain when it takes weeks, not days, to go away. Michael Vick is finding that out first hand.
“It’s worse than what I thought it was going to be,” Vick said. “It’s just slow. It’s taking longer than I thought it would.”
Whether you are on #teamfoles or #teamvick, seeing Vick potentially lose his job because Foles blos up while Vick is too hurt to play, isn’t something (hopefully) that you would root for. Especially given how badly it appears that Vick wants to be on the field.
“I want to get back out there, but I can’t,” Vick said. “I try to burst and run, I can’t do it. Just hoping it’s not a long time.”
In the meantime Nick Foles is fresh off of being named NFC Offensive Player of the Week, and with a strong showing against the Cowboys this Sunday, could cement his status as the team’s starting regardless of when Vick is healthy.
