Section 215 Taking Applications for new writers

Section 215 is always seeking fresh, new talent to add to our expanding staff.

Philly sports are in an extremely exciting time right now. The Eagles have began the Chip Kelly era, the Sixers are prepared to try to get Andrew Wiggins in next years draft, the Flyers had a big off-season, and the Phillies are sure to have a busy off-season as a disappointing 2013 season winds down.

According to worthofweb.com, Section 215 has gone from being valued at $127 in late January when I became editor, to being valued at $956  as of today. It doesn’t take a genius to realize that this is a site that is on the rise, and by joining Section 215, you would have a big chance to be a part of something long-term.

Experience is not required to write for Section 215, although it will help.

This is an unpaid position currently, but remember you will be writing on teams in a top five sports market, and be on a site managed by Fansided and partnered with Sports Illustrated. Not to mention you will be on a site filled with other talented  and passionate Philadelphia sports writers. In addition in writing for a site that receives thousands of viewers per month, you have a resume filler, and will have gained valuable experience.

To apply to be a writer on Section 215, fill out an application at http://fansided.com/join-fansided/. Under “Where you referred by anyone? If “yes”, please put name here:” please write Tim Kelly. Under “Which FanSided site/s would you prefer to write for?” write Section 215. Then follow the rest of the instructions and fill out the remainder of the resume. Applications will be reviewed within three to six days.

Any questions please contact me at [email protected]

Hope to have you aboard Section 215 soon!
