After making a blockbuster trade to acquire Nerlens Noel, the Sixers have selected  guard Michael Carter Williams with the number 11 overall pick in the NBA Draft.

Carter-Williams played just one year at Syracuse, averaging 11.9 ppg, 4.9 rebounds, and 7.3 assists. The biggest question scouts had for Carter-Williams was his ability to his outside jumpers.

Carter-Williams will replace Jrue Holiday, who was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans as part of the Nerlens Noel deal.
