Duke-Syracuse Set To Square Off In NCAA Lacrosse Title At The Linc

May 25, 2013; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Syracuse Orange players celebrate following the game against the Denver Pioneers in the 2013 NCAA Division I Men

I’ll be the first to tell you, I don’t even fully understand the rules of Lacrosse. But since I knew that the NCAA Title was in Philly this year, I’ve been casually following the tournament and I’ve found it pretty interesting. The game that really caught my attention yesterday, was Syracuse’s comeback win over Denver yesterday, which sent them to the National Title. Syracuse, who entered the tournament as the top seed, will face the seven seed Duke, who beat Cornell yesterday to advance to the Finals.

Duke and Syracuse will square off on Monday, in a Memorial Day Final, at 1 P.M. and of course the intrigue for Philly sports fans, is that it ill be held at the Linc, and any sporting event held at the Linc, only increases the hunger for Eagles season to get going.
