Raul Valdes Optioned To Triple-A; B.J. Rosenberg Called Up

According to reports, left-handed pitcher Raul Valdes has been optioned down to Triple-A Lehigh Valley and right-handed pitcher B.J. Rosenberg has been called up to replace Valdes. Valdes struggled and just couldn’t get the job done, having an ERA of 7.65. In Triple-A, Rosenberg has made 7 starts, going 1-3 with a 4.30 ERA.
