Philly.com is reporting that Eagles running-back Dion Lewis is on the trading block, as he appears to be the odd-man out of the Eagles running-back quartet.
This news is not surprising with the emergence of Bryce Brown in 2012, and Chris Polk looking to have the 3rd-string running-back spot locked down. And then of course the Eagles have LeSean McCoy, who will be getting a majority of the carries in 2013.
Lewis is a two-year pro out of the University of Pittsburgh, and in his limited playing time in the NFL, has show flashes of tremendous speed and potential. Lewis is also only 22, and could very well make a long-term impact on whichever NFL team he lands with.
