As each day goes by, not only are the Sixers still without center, Andrew Bynum, but his hair is getting even worse.
Today, Bynum once again spoke to the media about his injury. He was asked the same questions as he always is asked, but this time, they were different answers.
Bynum stated that he is one hundred percent sure he will play this 2013 season. He said he thinks he is only one week away until he can play on the practice court. But of course with Bynum, we really never know exactly when he will make his return, we just have to think positive.
“It’s the next step. I can’t hurt it more by playing. Yeah, I’m 100 percent sure I’ll play this year. I don’t see any surgeries and no doctor has told me I need them. I think I just have to grind up the cartilage that’s loose and I’ll feel better, so that’s what we’re working on doing. I think it’s just dealing with it, to be honest. Without some type of intervention or surgery it’s just dealing with it.”
Doug Collins said, “I have to coach the team like he’s not coming back.”
Bynum’s responses better be right because the 76ers are in desperate need of his contributions as they are in the hunt for the 8th seed.
Please get well soon Bynum, and please don’t forget to get that haircut.
