It's Now Or Never For Domonic Brown

It’s time to shine for Domonic Brown.

The 25-year old outfielder has had opportunities to make a statement, but has failed to do so. There are some games where he has shown a lot of talent and potential, and there are some games where he has some poor performances. At this point, Phillies fans are still questioning whether this guy will be a star or a bust.

In 2010, Brown played 35 games, hit .210, 2 home runs  and drove in 13 RBI’s. In 2011, he played 56 games, hit .245, 5 home runs  and drove in 19 RBI’s. Last season, Domonic played 56 games, hit .235, 5 home runs, and drove in 26 RBI’s.

This season, the Phils need to see improvement and production out of him. This is an aging team, so they really need a reliable, young outfielder.  So far, he is showing very slow improvement and is very inconsistent, but hopefully that will change.

Delmon Young will miss some of this season, so this will be a great opportunity for Brown to show the organization what he can do.

If Domonic Brown can have a solid 2013 season, both Brown and the Phils will have a very bright future to look forward to.
