The Philadelphia 76ers have signed point guard, Jeremy Pargo, to a 10-day contract, following the expiration of Shelvin Mack’s 2nd, 10-day contract.
If you remember a little while back, Pargo was actually the one who had his best game in the NBA this season, when going up against the Sixers in Cleveland, in his first start.
Pargo stated, “It’s a bit tough. I didn’t see it coming, in all honesty. But it happened and I’m here now and I’m going to try and make the best of this situation. Crash course’ is a good term for it. This is my first time on a 10-day contract. I guess I’m just going to be myself, have fun and play hard.”
Hopefully Pargo will benefit the Sixers, as they really need all the help they can get.
Head coach, Doug Collins said, “He’s got experience and he lit us up at Cleveland. He’s got a motor, he’s compact, he’s strong. Hopefully, he’s going to be able to help us.”
Pargo is averaging 7.8 points per game, 2.6 assists per game, and 1.3 rebounds per game this season.
