Can I Just Write You an A.I.O.U. ?

TMZ is reporting that Allen Iverson was forced to a pay a sum just under $900,000 today as a result of a lawsuit dating back to 2010. Aydin & Company jewelers sued Iverson after he failed to pay for $375,000 worth of diamonds. After court fees, adjustment costs, and interest, the bill now totaled close to $900,000.

A.I. will forever be one of Philadelphia’s favorite athletes, but he has run into his fair share of problems over the years. At one point in his career, that $375,000 may have been “talkin’ bout practice” money, but in this stage of his life, the now $900,000 should prove to be a very substantial amount of dough. Luckily for Allen, I have “the answer” (I swear this is the last Iverson pun in this article) in a short list of fundraising activities:

1. Go multi-Platinum on a new hip-hop CD. Ok, so his previous attempts to become a rap star have failed, but I’ve recently been told that “Soulja Boy” is worth $23 million dollars, soooo……

2. Take Antonio Daniels’ lunch money again. Now that Antonio’s hospital bills are all paid up and his prosthetic ankles are fully functioning, he should make appearances on the playground once again. Everyone knows his mom sends him with way too much money.

3. Increase the price of peepshows for Tyronm Lue. Tyronn has gotten way too many free front row seats to the A.I. show. If he was asked to pay the same price Jack Nicholson paid for his, Allen would be back in the black in no time.
